We serve a diverse range of clients, including individuals, schools, fashion brands, and businesses. We're now looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team.

Position Overview

In this role, you will work closely with our head of design, the product team and the founders. You will contribute to shaping the design direction of Tapstitch from concept to execution. Your mission will be to craft engaging end-to-end experiences that are visually appealing, functional, and aligned with our brand values and product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Working in all stages of the design process from discovery, research, user-testing and customer interactions, to then translating these insights into user flows, journey maps, concepts, and prototypes.

• Design Delivery: Deliver functional and aesthetically rich interfaces, translating brand guidelines into product principles and visuals.

• Voice of the Customers: Continuously seek to gain a deeper understanding of our customer’s pain points, always putting Tapstitch's customers at the heart of what you do and why you do it.

• Autonomy and Initiative: Manage individual projects with a high degree of autonomy while aligning your work with broader product vision and team goals.

Requirements

• Experience: You have 5+ years designing products and systems (not just websites!) across B2B and B2C.

• Full Stack Designer: You are a full stack designer with a proven track record demonstrating skills including user research, concept design, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design and visual design.

• Strong Portfolio: You have a proven track record delivering intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces.

Communication Skills

• Fluent in English: Our customers are based in North America. Please make sure you have a proven track record running customer interviews, feedback sessions and workshops in English.

• Presentation Skills: You have strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate and justify your design choices and influence key stakeholders.

• Confident Storyteller: You are a confident storyteller and an advocate for innovative/creative ideas and best design practices.

Technical Skills

• Figma Expert: You are a Figma pro, an expert at creating and reusing components and shared styles as part of a design system, and familiar with conducting user interviews and tests through platforms such as Maze and usertesting.com

• Optimizer: You are obsessed with good design hygiene and best practices and are always on the lookout for streamlining and optimizing your processes.

• Mockup Expert: You have the ability to create beautiful high-fidelity mockups; take pride in your craft and have a strong attention to detail.
