Teenuscript is a teen-run publishing press dedicated to helping young writers get their stories out into the world. We’re not a vanity press or another Wattpad ---we’re here to give you support, full ownership, and personalized guidance that doesn’t treat you like a kid.
We believe in your story and want to help you publish it right. If you’re tired of being told to “wait until you're older”, this is your sign to take the leap. Teenuscript publishes teen writers ---for real.
The purpose of this form is to get to know you and your project better. Once we review your response/pitch, we'll reach out (using the methods of contact you provide) to schedule a conversation. If we choose to move forward following that, then we'll create a personalized publishing plan and support you throughout the publishing process!
What You (The Author) Does
• List Teenuscript as the publisher on platforms like Amazon, IngramSpark, etc
• Retain all rights and earnings from book (no financial involvement from Teenuscript)
• Promote the book on their own platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Stay communicative, responsive, and engaged throughout the process.=
• Provide necessary materials (manuscript, author bio, preferences, etc.)
• Offer testimonials of their experience working with Teenuscript
• Set clear expectations and preferences during the process
• Provide formative help (idea generation, feedback, etc.)
• Offer editorial support (developmental, line editing, copy editing, proofreading)
• Support social media efforts (assist with strategy, generate post ideas)
• Assist with book design and typesetting
• Develop a tailored publishing plan with next steps, timelines, areas for improvement, and strategies
• Guide the publishing process (help navigate publishing and distribution options)
• Provide ongoing support (post-launch distribution, etc.
• This opportunity is exclusive to teen writers (≤19 y.o)
• This form is non-binding
