The Courtyards Institute: Chapter Leads

Chapter Leads

The Courtyards Institute is a nonprofit organization with a mission to develop grassroots initiatives, policy, and talent to advance mental health in East Asian communities. Ours is a culture of ideas, innovation, and community that tackles difficult problems globally. 

To further this mission, the Institute is seeking Chapter Leads. Leads will launch chapters at their schools/universities to build relationships with community partners, raise funds for the Institute, and manage programs related to the Institute’s mission. Chapter Leads will have the opportunity to build, manage, and sustain a community of like-minded peers with the support of Institute leadership. 

Responsibilities

Chapter Leads will found a school/university club or external organization and work in conjunction with the Institute to develop initiatives relevant to their community. Leads will host regular meetings, direct their organization’s growth, and foster a positive culture within their community.


Qualifications

- Enrollment as an undergraduate or high school student.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High agency and ownership of work, from open-ended problem to solution.
- Presence within your school/university community.
- Experience managing school clubs/other organizations.
