Check the below box to signal you are aware that Raft is a new organization, founded in 2024.

And also, signal below whether or not you are aware that Raft plans to implement a member structure, where lottery-selected project leaders and fellows would be on its governing board.

This is not implemented yet, to be clear, and will take shape with your input.
We believe that fiscal sponsorship infrastructure can form the foundation of something greater; that we can amount to more than the sum of our parts. We aim to cultivate an environment where members support one another, both within and with-out the structure, in ways big and small. A network, or maybe even a community, grounded in relationality and care. Read more about the structure here. Leave unchecked if this is something you have questions or concerns about.

Also also, please signal whether or not you are aware that, whenever you engage with a fiscal sponsor, such as Raft Foundation, you cede, to a significant degree, final say over the use of donated funds.

To be clear, this form isn't contractually binding. There will be an actual contract, that you can review, where we agree to specific terms. But we wanted to cut right to the chase and make sure this is something you start thinking about. Trust, communication, and being in good relationship will be of paramount importance! (And that's also why we are taking our governance structure so seriously.) Read a little more here. Leave unchecked if this is something you have questions or concerns about.
