A Tango Facilitator helps guide fellow dancers along their tango journey, making the dance more accesible, enjoyable, and sustainable. Through coaching, teaching, and hosting roles, they help create pathways for dancers to deepen their connection with Argentine Tango.

Being a tango facilitator requires being comfortable, confident, and articulate in multiple areas in order to help fellow tango dancers advance. These areas include social dancing, communication, coaching, teaching, hosting, and tango-specific skills. Additionally, tango facilitators engage key qualities like interpersonal sensitivity, active listening skills, and embody the collaborative spirit of tango.
Tango Facilitation roles in this training include demonstrating, coaching, teaching, and hosting.
Coaching: guiding individual dancers or couples through personalized instruction and feedback.
Teaching: delivering structured knowledge and techniques to individuals or groups in a systematic way.
Demonstrating: showing clear and precise movements while embodying relevant form and technique without using verbal instruction.
Hosting: creating a welcoming environment by preparing the physical space, managing social dynamics, and coordinating partner changes.
