Open Call - Youth Leaders & Educators

Help us bring critical AI literacy to young people in your community! 🚌

We're applying to fund the AIxDESIGN Academy for Young Designers – a learning program that gives young people the confidence and skills to critically engage with AI.

If funding is granted, we'll need youth leaders like you to adapt our learning materials so that they work in your learning environment(s). We see youth educators as an important part of the program success as it will help to create lesson plans and teaching materials that can be credibly used wherever you currently work – in the classroom, and after-school program, or even at home!

By filling out this form, you're expressing interest in collaborating with us should we receive funding. This isn't a commitment – it's a way to signal your interest in being part of something that could reshape how young people in your community understand and use AI.

We'll submit the information you provide as a "letter of intent" (see template here) alongside our application to show funders that educators are eager to bring this kind of critical, creative AI education to their communities.

NOTE: We're currently prioritising applications from the Netherlands and the UK as meet the funding criteria we're applying to. If you're elsewhere and interested, please still submit – we'll reach out if grants open up in your region!

The program will require us to host in-person working sessions for the youth in your area. This will help us understand if you can help us spread the word. No worries, if the answer is no – just trying to get a picture of the help we may have available to us.
