International Inclusive Taekwon-Do Association (IITA) – Member Organisation Agreement
This agreement outlines the basic rules and conditions for an organisation wishing to join the International Inclusive Taekwon-Do Association (IITA) as a recognised member.
Purpose: The purpose of this agreement is to establish mutual understanding and cooperation in promoting Inclusive Taekwon-Do for individuals of all abilities, aligning with IITA’s mission and core values.
Eligibility: To become a member organisation, the applicant must be an officially recognised Taekwon-Do body or club within its country, demonstrate inclusive practice or a genuine commitment to developing inclusive Taekwon-Do programs, and agree to adhere to IITA's principles, rules, and international event regulations. All Taekwon-Do groups can be involved for the continued unity and benefit of those with disabilities.
Code of Conduct: All member organisations agree to treat all individuals with dignity, respect, and fairness; promote a safe, inclusive, and non-discriminatory training environment; refrain from any form of abuse, harassment, or exclusionary practices; and uphold the spirit and ethics of original ITF Taekwon-Do.
Use of Name and Logo: The IITA logo, book and name may only be used with prior written approval for marketing, uniforms, or official documents. Misuse or misrepresentation of the IITA brand may result in suspension or removal of membership.
Participation in Events: Member organisations are encouraged to actively participate in IITA international championships online and/or meetings. All athletes must be registered under the member organisation and comply with classification and safety rules.
Reporting and Communication: Member organisations must provide annual updates about their inclusive activities and athletes. Changes in leadership or structural changes within the organisation must be communicated to IITA.
Fees and Contributions: Any annual or event-related fees (if applicable) must be paid on time. IITA may waive or reduce fees under special conditions, particularly for developing regions.
Disciplinary Action: Membership may be suspended or terminated if the organisation violates the rules and values of IITA, brings disrepute to the IITA through unethical actions or neglect, or fails to engage or respond to repeated communication.
Termination of Membership: Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination, the organisation must cease use of all IITA branding and remove references from its platforms.
Acceptance: By signing this agreement, the organisation acknowledges it has read, understood, and agrees to abide by the above rules as a recognised IITA Member Organisation.
