The Courtyards Institute: Research Fellows

Research Fellows

The Courtyards Institute is a nonprofit organization with a mission to develop grassroots initiatives, policy, and talent to advance mental health in East Asian communities. Ours is a culture of ideas, innovation, and community that tackles difficult problems globally. 

To further this mission, the Institute is seeking Research Fellows. Fellows will collaborate in teams of 4-5 to publish long-form research papers. Fellows will have the opportunity to conduct studies, analyze government-sanctioned databases, and will manage the scientific process from open-ended problem to solution.

Responsibilities

Fellows will conduct independent, non-partisan research on policy questions and support broader organizational objectives. Fellows may work in various aspects of mental health policy, including but not limited to:

- Healthcare policy
- Technology & society
- Economic and workforce implications

Qualifications

- Enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited university. Exceptional high school upperclassmen will also be considered.
- Strong mastery of English writing and comprehension.
- Experience in collaborative, research-oriented, and high output teams and environments.
