This form is for Black K-Pop fans who wish to tell their K-Pop journey as a member of a marginalized population. This form is also for Black K-Pop fans who are content creators, who are songwriters/dancers, or those who own their own businesses. This is an opportunity for you all to express your creativity through your form of art and/or simply explain how being Black has played a part in your K-Pop journey, both good and bad. This initiative is to bring light to every aspect of being a Black K-Pop fan, including but not limited to racially motivated incidents, thoughts on society's view of Black people and black cultures influence on the industry, struggles, triumphs and even to bring light on how being a Black K-Pop fan can be different for each individual person. Use our platform to be heard and seen for the melanated magic that you are.
Please note that for video submissions, you can request for your face to be blurred, if you so wish, once the direct submission link is sent to you. You can also request for your written submission to be marked as "anonymous."
Explanation: Video Submission- most preferred by K-Pop fans who wish to film themselves talking with or without face blurring. These will be posted on our official youtube under our "Rooted and Grounded" playlist. Written Statements: these will be constructed as an anonymous post with only your words and nothing else. These will be posted on social media throughout the initiative.
*Once this form is submitted, K4P will email you the direct link for the submission of your choosing. We do this to keep track of participants and to provide you with more details/updates on this initiative and the steps we are taking to make this initiative bigger than ourselves*
