Advisor for Founders Guild @ Hulm

Salaam đź‘‹ My name is Abdul-Rahman, I'm a medical doctor turned tech founder building Pillars (1.5M+ users) and Jibreel (Helping 2B+ Muslims learn Islam)
I'm setting up Founders Guild to bring up to 10 Muslim tech founders with early traction together once every month.
Why? Accountability, community and peer support (advice).
We're basing this off of YC's "sections" where cohort startups come together on a regular basis to share successes (e.g. MRR for that month, # of new customers etc.), share aims/goals for the next 30 days and come back to discuss their successes/failures/learnings and go all over again.
Everything is documented, we set up a leadership board. Everyone is held accountable for what they said and what they did.
Every single YC founder who has done this during YC and after says this catapults their startup's traction and speed. When they stop ... traction DROPS.
It's just human behaviour.
You can find out more about the vision with this tweet thread I put out.
We are looking for advisors who can drop in every 3-4 months (super low commitment) to sit in these sessions and do adjacent "office hours" with startups. It should take up to 2 hours max.
We've already got the CEO of Muzz, Shahzad join us!

What you need to know? đź’ˇ

- The startups are not pre-revenue. They are all generating early monthly revenue, from $5k to $100k MRR.
- We come together 1x evening / month
- It takes place at Hulm Club, Farringdon in London
- Events are always IRL
- Your commitment is 2 hours per quarter (i.e. you won't be expected to come to every meet-up, rather every 3-4 months)
- You don't need to prep anything, must come with your experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to help future Muslim founders already making waves.
- Opportunity to angel invest into early-stage Muslim founders (if anyone is of interest!)
- You will be expected to sign an NDA (alongside the founders). This just enables safety / security for everyone to share all their metrics confidently.
