Artist Career Lab Accelerator — Application

The Artist Career Lab Accelerator is built for artists who want to understand the music industry deeply enough to build a real, sustainable career — not just release songs and hope something sticks.
This is a 3-month, high-support program for emerging artists who are serious about their craft, committed to consistent output, and ready to develop the skills required to grow independently: creatively, strategically, and professionally.
Inside the Accelerator, the focus is two fold: 1. High-level A&R feedback to help you strengthen your songwriting, production choices, and artistic direction 2. Career and brand development so you understand how to release music, build a fanbase, and grow a community around your work in a way that’s aligned and sustainable.
If you’re looking for real feedback, structure, accountability, and an A&R-level approach to your development — this is where that work happens.
Led by Andre Herd — former VP of A&R at APG with 13+ years in the industry, 4B+ streams across projects, and multiple Grammy nominations — In addition to weekly guidance from Andre, the program includes bi-weekly guest sessions with experienced industry professionals, offering real-world perspective across A&R, digital/social, management, marketing, and long-term artist development.
This program is selective. Each cohort is intentionally curated so artists receive meaningful attention, support, and feedback. About 20–30% of applicants are accepted.
If accepted, you’ll begin with a 2-week free trial, so you can experience the program, the community, and the level of support before fully committing.
The next cohort begins January 5th, 2026.

What are you struggling with the most right now in your artist career? (Be as specific as possible — clarity helps me understand how to support you.)

Why are you an artist? What drives you to create?

Which song of yours best represents your current direction as an artist, and why?

(Google Drive, SoundCloud, Tiktok etc. - make sure that sharing permissions are turned on and set to everyone)

This doesn't need to be a fully produced track — a voice memo or live video is totally fine.

What is your long-term ambition as an artist?

In 12 months, what would “success” look like for you as an artist? (There’s no right answer — be honest.)
