Safe Events Initiative - Call for Input

Harassment and uncomfortable situations still happen far too often at hackathons, web3 conferences, and community events. We want to change that.

Womxn in Privacy, Web3Privacy Now and Hacker Archives, are putting together a Safe Events Toolkit - a practical resource to help organizers, teams, and attendees create and navigate safer, more inclusive spaces. This will include everything from reporting guidance and response strategies, to cultural tips and first-hand insights. It’s not just about policies - it’s about culture, care, and accountability.

To make this toolkit useful and real, we need your input. Share what you feel comfortable with.

You can also reach me directly @alinalatinina (X+TG) to chat or share a story you'd like to keep anonymous.
This project will be published through Women in Privacy (research + content) and Hacker Archives (distribution + outreach to events), and amplified by Web3Privacy Now with an input on personal and attendee privacy & new ideas for Hackathon use-case generator.
