Head of Operations (all genders)

We are looking for a Head of Operations to design, launch, and lead the systems that power our next-generation cargo drone missions. From setting up operational structures to scaling real-world deployments, you’ll play a central role in building the future of autonomous logistics.  At NEX Aero, finance isn't just about reporting numbers — it’s about empowering a mission with clarity, foresight, and resilience.

YOUR MISSION/RESPONSIBILITIES

-Design and implement scalable, mission-ready operational processes for our cargo drone services
-Ensure regulatory compliance, operational safety, and efficiency across all phases of deployment
-Build and lead a high-performing, hands-on operations team
-Optimize logistics coordination, fleet management, and field execution
-Collaborate across engineering, product, and external partners to drive operational excellence at every level

YOUR PROFILE

- Experience in aviation, logistics, or drone operations (start-up or high-growth environments a strong plus)
-Strong leadership skills with a solution-oriented, builder’s mindset
-Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks, safety protocols, and field-tested best practices
-A passion for turning bold ideas into working systems — with reliability, resilience, and real-world purpose
-Strong communication skills and fluency in English (German or other languages are a plus)
