NeuroChat is a neuroadaptive AI tutor developed at the MIT Media Lab that integrates brain signals (EEG) with generative AI to personalize learning in real time. NeuroChat continuously monitors a learner's cognitive engagement and dynamically adjusts the content complexity, response style, and pacing of its responses to match their needs. Our initial research shows that NeuroChat can enhance engagement compared to standard AI chatbots.
