Banquet Sales & Marketing Manager

Salary Per Year - $45,000-$55,000

Hilton Garden Inn Evanston is seeking a proactive and experienced to drive event revenue, execute local marketing strategies, and manage banquet event logistics. This position is perfect for a hospitality-driven individual who thrives on building relationships and delivering exceptional service from proposal to post-event follow-up.

Leadership & Strategy:

Sell and service all banquet, social, and meeting events at the property (corporate, weddings, local events, etc.)

Conduct site tours and prepare customized banquet proposals

Collaborate with the food & beverage and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution

Manage event bookings in the PMS/CRM system and maintain accurate BEOs

Develop and implement local marketing campaigns, promotions, and social media content for banquet offerings

Build relationships with local event planners, corporations, universities, and vendors to grow leads and referrals

Prepare monthly sales forecasts and performance reports

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience in banquet/catering sales or hospitality marketing.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Proficient in event contracts, BEO creation, and CRM usage.

Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and handle client requests with professionalism.

Knowledge of the Evanston/Chicago North Shore market is a plus
