Thank you in advance for filling out Science Baby's big parenting survey this year! The grown-ups behind science baby are real scientists hoping to use their reach and their research powers for good, to improve understanding of reproductive health around the world and through time.
This survey is mainly directed at birthing parents, but non-birthing parters are welcome to answer those questions that are relevant to them.
Please answer questions with your most recent pregancy in mind. You are welcome to complete the survey again for previous children/pregnancies.
About You contains questions about your identity and demographics, which is really important for identifying trends in the data;
Trying to Conceive is all about your journey to pregancy, however long or short;
Pregnancy asks for your experiencing and monitoring from the moment you found out you were pregnant until it was time to give birth;
Birth is, unsurprisingly, all about your birth experience;
Perinatal Period is about some of your experiences and choices when your little one was newborn.
Most questions are simple checkboxes, but there is an opportunity to tell us more about your specific experiences at the end. We've tried to cover as many possible options as possible, but if you think there's a section or response missing, then please let us know so we can improve the survey next year. You can write to us at
[email protected]The whole survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. Everything is completely anonymous. None of the questions are compuslory, but the more information you provide, the better our data will be. Thank you again for your contribution to science!
