Stride Leaders are asked to make a commitment to this program from late March through the end of the fall semester (December) - not including summer break.
Stride Leaders must commit to the following:
- Recruit Stride participants and conduct interviews with applicants during the end of March and April this semester.
- Participate in a Stride Lead training seminar in the afternoon of Friday, April 11th and then in Stride Team selection in the afternoon of Friday, April 25th.
- Move-in early in the Fall semester to attend a Leader Training on Friday, August 22nd.
- Participate in a Stride Kick-Off event on Saturday, August 23rd.
- Attend 3 evening Stride Nights in the Fall semester, covering a variety of topics through student lead panels and faculty leaders, during the fall semester (Dates & Times TBD).
- Meet weekly with your co-ed group of 8 sophomores for small group discussion for the Fall semester.
