What does the week look like

On Sunday, May 24, participants will gather for a welcome dinner. On Monday, May 25, the program will begin with an introduction to the program and Silicon Valley, followed by the first meetings.
The program runs Monday through Friday. Each day, we will meet experienced entrepreneurs, venture capital investors, and executives, and allow time for reflection. Midweek, there will be a closed-door reception and dinner with the Dutch-American entrepreneurial community (DutchTechSF). Lunch is included. Each day concludes after the final session.

When is it

The travel dates are Saturday, May 23 and Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Who is the organizer

The San Francisco–based host and organizer is Oliver (Olle) Binkhorst. He is an advisor to VCs and founders and the initiator of DutchTechX, which spun out of DutchTechSF, the Dutch-American entrepreneurial community. The initiative, funded by founders, encourages and facilitates collaboration between the U.S. and the Netherlands.
He has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector across China, Europe, and the US, and has held go-to-market (GTM) roles at companies including Coverity (acq. by $SNPS), ScanSafe (acq. by $CSCO), and Atlassian ($TEAM). Prior to that, he founded ATRE, the first conference for startups in China.
His initiatives have been covered by NRC, De Telegraaf, Financieel Dagblad, Business Insider, RTL Z, Quote, BNR, and MT/Sprout, among others.

What is DutchTechX

DutchTechX builds and contributes to a positive-sum community between the Netherlands and the U.S. The collective experience of its members spans all aspects of building successful companies, from the formative stage to managing multi-billion-dollar enterprises.
DutchTechX got off the ground with financial assistance from entrepreneurs in the US and the Netherlands. The founding members collectively employ over 800 people globally and have raised €700 million for their ventures.

Eligibility & Fit

The program is ideally suited for entrepreneurs, founders, and funders, as well as mid- to C-level executives. The stage of your company is not important, but you must have a desire to learn.
Regardless of any previous visits to the region, participation offers a unique insider’s perspective.

What’s included

Your registration includes full access to the program, an expert guide, site visits, lunches, venues, talks, the welcome dinner, the reception and dinner with the Dutch-American entrepreneurial community, and limousine bus transportation to scheduled activities as needed.
In addition, you can promote your job adverts on our job board, gain exposure to our 25K social media followers, and be included in the alumni showcase.
Airfare and lodging are not included. Participants will receive a discounted rate at the 5-star, Tripadvisor-rated Hotel Emblem in San Francisco's theater district.

How much

Netherlands-based companies confirmed to participate are eligible for the Subsidie SIB Marktentree of €2,500. The required documents will be provided upon request.
If you register before Monday, March 30, the program fee is €7,500 P.P. After this date, the full fee of €8,500 P.P. applies.
After receiving the subsidy, your investment will be approximately €6,500, including flight and accommodation.
You may refer a team member or friend to join. Each participant must register separately.
Participation is confirmed once payment is received. Payment can be made via wire transfer or credit card. Please note that a valid ESTA visa is required to enter the United States.
