2025 Sultan Summer Camp: History and Heritage Workshops!

History Seekers: An Adventure through Time in the City of the Dead

The Sultan Foundation and ARCHiNOS Architecture are thrilled to announce the Summer

Edition of the Qaitbey Children Camp with the theme “History Seekers: A Journey through Time in the City of the Dead”.

Nestled within the unique “City of the Dead”, our project aims at revealing and unraveling the cultural and historical importance of the heritage-rich Qaitbey neighbourhood through engaging workshops.

Uncovering the Past and Shaping the Future 

During the camp, lasting one week, different workshops will introduce children (aged 12-15, both girls and boys) to the rich world of heritage and history. With children’s natural curiosity and drive exploration, we want to spark a lasting passion for history while helping them

understand the importance of preserving the cultural and historical treasures around them.

Together, we want to equip the next generation with the knowledge, creativity, and care to explore and protect the living heritage at the heart of an important neighborhood!

Celebration and display of all of the art and photos that were created and taken during the days of the camp!

Registration Fees

Early registration & payment (by 26th June 2025): EGP 3,000 Normal registration (after 26th of June): EGP 3,800 Final payment deadline: 8th of July 2025

Your payment not only covers your child's participation in the summer camp but also gives the opportunity for a similar experience to another child from the local community of the Qaitbey neighbourhood.

Payments cover all materials, snacks, and activities. Please note that a daily snack will be provided (e.g., fruit, cookies, juice, and water).
However, lunch WILL NOT be included. Kindly ensure your child comes with either a packed lunch or money to purchase food.

Cancellation Policy

50% refund for cancellations made one week before the start of the Camp (before the 6th July 2025) No refund for cancellations during the camp.

Security

The professional liaison for the area will be taking care of the children when visiting outside Craftastic.
