CortexPD Researcher Application

About Us: We're CortexPD, a 501(c)(3) NPO backed by UC Davis, Occidental College, the the ALS Therapy Development Insitute aspiring to fill the lack of computational research related to Parkinsons. All of our funds go to our research.

Location: Remote Position Type: Internship (3-5 hours weekly)

Overview: As a researcher, you will either specialize in Artificial Intelligence, UI/UX, or full-stack development for our ongoing research project "AI-Driven Interactive Parkinson’s Disease Progression Atlas (PD-Atlas)" that will

1. Predict individual disease progression using GNN + Transformer models trained on multi-modal data (clinical scores, biomarkers, imaging, genetic data, etc). 2. Offer an interactive and minimal visualization interface for researchers AND patients to explore. 3. Will be open source under the MIT License on GitHub (extra credit for contributors)
