The project is led by a group of independent Arab entrepreneurs, bringing together different stakeholders, philanthropists, and grassroots humanitarian institutions, with the sole purpose of providing humanitarian relief.
WFH’s focus is on long-term, life-changing support, especially for those with amputations and other blast injuries. We aim to provide holistic rehabilitation that includes physical medicine rehabilitation, access to advanced prosthetics, orthotics, and specialized medical procedures for Gazans impacted by the on-going genocide. Our targeted outcome is the victim’s independence, social reintegration, and return to vocational activities.
We are currently recruiting 10–15 volunteer therapists and mental health providers who are willing to donate some of their time to support this mission. As part of this volunteer network, you will:
• Be connected to injured victims and/or their families in need of psychological support.
• Be part of the holistic rehabilitation pathway provided to WFH “victim patients”.
• Join a supportive community of practitioners via WhatsApp
• Participate in a brief 15-minute interview before final confirmation
