Ravenloft is a Gothic Horror setting that was born from a D&D game called "The Curse of Strahd." Today, it has been reissued and adapted to the fifth edition of D&D, with new mechanics and stories to discover.
Playing in Ravenloft means that during the game, you'll notice a much greater emphasis on storytelling, the fear of the unknown, and a constant struggle against a seemingly endless darkness. The world is corrupted by death and evil, but even in these circumstances, light and purity can appear to give hope to the inhabitants who suffer the constant hardships of the Mist Realms.
