You are invited to name the people, lineages, lands, and waters you would like to bring—and what their memory asks you to protect, repair, or carry forward.
Take your time. Answer as simply or as fully as you wish.
What you share will be received with care and held in the fire.
You’ll receive the Zoom link and gathering details here before the fire.
The fire will be lit in Kaukitá, Pereira, Colombia. The place from which you join matters too.
You may share surnames, family lines, peoples, communities, or lineages of care. Name only what you know and wish to bring. What is unknown, interrupted, or difficult to name also has a place in the fire.
Rivers, mountains, forests, seas, villages, cities, or other places connected to your life and the lives that came before you. Name as many or as few as you wish.
An ancestor, a loved one, a teacher, or anyone whose name you would like to place in the circle. You do not need to explain. I will call on them by name in the fire.
A name. A story. A teaching. A place. A relationship that needs forgiveness or reconciliation. Something your ancestors began—or something that must change so it is not passed on. A few honest words are enough.
Living Fire is offered by voluntary contribution so that no one is excluded for lack of funds.
If you are able, the suggested contribution is USD 25. It helps sustain the preparation of the gathering, the materials offered to the fire, the online platform, and the time required to tend the fire and the circle.
You are welcome to contribute less or more according to your circumstances. A larger contribution also helps make room for someone who cannot contribute this time.
After submitting this form:
1. Your place by the fire will be held.
2. You will be taken directly to PayPal to complete your voluntary contribution.
3. You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link and a few simple recommendations for preparing for the gathering.
