Brown Girls, Money Moves Dinners Waterloo-Kitchener: Will Attend List

What We’re About:  Brown Girls, Money Moves Dinner is a space for South Asian women to connect over shared meals and real conversation. No matter your role or where you are in your journey, you're welcome here.

Why Dinner? The best conversations happen over food. These dinners give us a chance to slow down, swap stories, and share advice — with no pressure and no pretense.

Our Vibe: We're here to build friendships, support each other, and grow together. No judgment, no cliques, just good food and even better company. Assume that most folks at the table may know only one other person (if that!). The magic is in expanding our networks.

An email will be sent a few days before the dinner with a list of attendees to help ease intros and spark conversation.
Who Pays? This is a POW (pay-own-way) experience. Show up like you would to dinner with your girlfriends, ready to cover your own bill. Some dinners may feature a prix fixe menu, others individual bills, at the Chapter Lead's discretion.
After Dinner: Once you attend, you’ll be added to a private WhatsApp thread to continue the conversation and stay connected with your group. Contact info for Chapter Leads will also be shared here so you can explore other city dinners while traveling.
Cancellations & Attendance: Life happens. We get that. That’s why each member is allotted two short-notice cancellations (within 48 hours) per year — like your therapist. You’re welcome to attend as many dinners as you’d like, but depending on demand, there may be a short wait between spots.
What's The Fee? Until the end of the year, the dinner series is complimentary to attend. Women who join the BGMM Dinner list before December 31st will receive no-fee access to the community.

This is a non-solicitation space. Please be mindful not to crowd someone’s energy or inbox with sales tactics of any kind. We’re here to build trust, not pitch decks.
