Where does the artistic process live?

From 28 September to 11 October, the film Daniel JeanRichard will be produced at PalaCinema Locarno as an open process.

For two weeks, the production becomes a space for observation, experimentation and exchange, bringing together cinema professionals, artists, researchers, students and the public around the changes AI and new technologies are bringing to the way we create and work.

WHICH MOMENTS WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN?

6 OCTOBER 14:30–16:00· OPEN STUDIO / FEEDBACK SESSION Enter the production process, meet the people working on the film and discuss what is happening, including the use of AI and emerging tools.

8 OCTOBER 18:00-19:30 · OPEN STUDIO / FEEDBACK SESSION An evening to explore the evolving creative process and share observations and questions emerging from the production.

9 OCTOBER ·15:00–17:00 · CINEMA SECTOR GATHERING A roundtable on AI-assisted cinematic workflows and the creative, ethical, ecological, legal and professional questions emerging from the project. Includes soup, fruits, water & wine.

9 OCTOBER 17:30–20:00 ·Opening: Intelligence in Time : open to all · in Italian and English, with contributions in other languages A public dialogue between cinema, AI research, the history of watchmaking and the philosophy of time, featuring materials from the film and the first results of the research accompanying the production.

The FORMA APERTA dialogue is already open.
