Birdsong Farmers Market 2026 Pop-Up Vendor Application

Interested in a one-time or occasional pop-up spot as a hot food vendor? We love welcoming pop-up food vendors to Birdsong Farmers Market! Whether you're testing out a new menu, only able to join us occasionally, or just want to try out the market scene, this application is for you. Pop-up vendors aren't held to the same ongoing standards as our regular vendors, so a few things (like organic certification and local sourcing) are encouraged rather than required. Fill out the form below and we'll follow up about availability and next steps. Pop-up vendors keep 100% of their sales. The only fee we charge is $15 per market.
About Our Market

Birdsong Farmers Market is the perfect place for small and growing food businesses to connect with local customers. As a smaller, community-focused market, vendors have the chance to build real relationships with shoppers and develop a loyal following. We are a food-focused market.

During the summer season, our market averages around 100-150 shoppers, and while winter brings a smaller crowd, averaging 80-100 shoppers each market, it is made up of consistent regulars who come, rain or shine. Each market typically features 5–10 vendors, offering a great mix of local produce, baked goods, and specialty food items.

Market Details: 1. Location: 2824 5th Ave S, Birmingham — in the parking lot of Automatic Seafood.

2. Hours: Saturdays, 7 AM–12 PM, 8 AM - 12 PM during our winter hours.

Vendors usually arrive about 30 minutes early to set up and are welcome to pack up once sold out.

3. Setup: Vendors must bring their own table, tent, and cooler. Birdsong Farmers Market does not provide electricity or power hookups of any kind. If your booth needs power, you're responsible for bringing your own generator. 4. Fees: $15 per market, collected in cash or via Venmo. A portion of these funds goes back into supporting market operations and promotions.

5. Schedule: Open every Saturday year-round, except for a short winter break near the end of the year.

6. Flexibility: We keep scheduling flexible — join as often as you’d like! However, vendors who attend regularly tend to build stronger customer relationships and grow their businesses faster.

Please Note: Applications go through review by our board, so final approval typically takes about 1-2 weeks. Once a decision is made, we'll reach out via email or Instagram to let you know if you've been accepted and to set up your first market date. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out to us at birdsongfarmersmarket@gmail.com.
