Smoothie is a video enhancement tool designed with a "Privacy-First" core. This policy outlines our commitment to your data security and explains why your content remains entirely under your control.
Smoothie performs all video enhancement tasks—including AI Upscaling and Frame Interpolation—locally on your iPhone.
No Cloud Processing: Your videos are never uploaded to a server or transferred outside your device.
Native Frameworks: All processing is handled exclusively through Apple's local frameworks: CoreML, Metal, AVFoundation, and Vision.
We do not collect any personal information:
No Accounts Required: You can use all features without an account, registration, or login.
No Tracking: The app contains no third-party tracking SDKs, analytics, or advertising identifiers (IDFA).
No Cookies: We do not use cookies or any digital fingerprinting technologies.
The app includes a lightweight, persistent logger (CrashLogger) to help diagnose technical issues.
Storage Location: These logs are stored strictly on your device in the <Documents>/CrashLogs/ directory.
User Control: Logs are never sent to us automatically. They are only shared if you manually export and send them to our support team.
Content Privacy: Logs contain only technical stack traces (error data) and never contain video content or personal identifiers.
