Role Description

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer and work on building scalable APIs and designing efficient multi-tenant database solutions. This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer located in Chennai. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality scalable software and high performance backend systems to support our unified business operations platform. Ideal for those with 3 to 8 years of experience.


Key Responsibilities:

* Design & build robust RESTful APIs for a multi-tenant B2B platform

* Optimize database schemas (MySQL)

* Excellent problem-solving ability and agility in adapting to project timelines

* Apply caching, query optimization, and best security practices

* Participate in code reviews and technical documentation writing


Technical Skills Required:

* Strong Java, OOP concepts, data structures & algorithms

* Hands-on experience with Spring Boot (MVC, Spring Data, dependency injection)

* MySQL database design, indexing & query optimization

* RESTful API design, HTTP protocols, versioning

* Git/version control


Bonus Skills:

* AWS: EC2, RDS, deployment experience

* Event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)

* Experience in B2B SaaS applications

Salary Range: Minimum of INR 25,000 per month to INR 50,000 per month. But this shouldn't stop us from rewarding more for higher-potential talent.

Location: OMR, Chennai
We are looking for someone who can work from office and preferably in and around OMR, Chennai for easier commute.
