π 500 Background needed for a NASCAR Daytona 500 commercial!
Daytona's racing story started on the beach, with drivers running stock cars across the sand. Everything that came after, from the Speedway to generations of drivers and one of the biggest crowds in American sports, traces back to that stretch of shoreline.
Now we're bringing it all back to where it began. A quiet morning on the beach gets taken over by a wave of fans, race crews, cars and personalities, led by today's NASCAR drivers, sweeping Daytona from the sand to the Speedway in one big live moment.
That's where you come in. We need a crowd with real energy to be the heart of that stampede. If you love a big moment and want to be part of Daytona history, we'd love to have you on the beach.
Shoot date: Monday, November 9
Location: A beach in the Daytona Beach area (exact location shared with booked talent)
Pay: $100 per person
Hours: Around a 6-hour day, with several breaks and short rests between takes. Heads up: this is an ACTIVE day, not a day of lounging on the beach! Currently planned for midday, but times may shift, so please keep the whole day open.
Who: Ages 13 and up, all genders, all ethnicities. No one under 13. Minors ages 13β17 must have a parent or guardian on set with them.
Physical: You must be able to jog or run on sand for up to a minute per take, multiple takes.
Props: You may be asked to hold and carry props while moving, from small handheld items up to large flags.
Wardrobe: Casual beach-day or workout / athleisure looks you can move in, and sneakers you can run in. Your top must be a plain t-shirt with NO logos, brand names, graphics, or text. If you wear a color, it MUST be one of the NASCAR colors: RED, BLUE, or YELLOW. If you have more than one of these colors, bring them all! No bathing suits.
NASCAR gear: Production will likely provide each extra with at least one NASCAR-branded item to wear or hold (such as a hat, t-shirt, or banner).
Food: No meals or snacks provided. Bring your own food and water.
Safety: There will be pyro and special effects on set, run by a licensed stunt and safety team. Everyone gets a safety briefing before filming.
LOCAL HIRES ONLY. No travel or lodging provided.

Never done this before? No problem! Most of the people on this beach will be first-timers, and we'll walk you through every step.
STEP 1: APPLY
Fill out this form completely, including your photos. Please make sure your phone number and email are correct, because that is how we will reach you.
π± STEP 2: WATCH FOR A TEXT MESSAGE (YOUR BOOKING OFFER)
If we want to book you, you will receive a TEXT MESSAGE from us with a booking offer.
Please get back to this text AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. This is a first come, first served opportunity (for the most part), and if it takes you too long to get back to us, we may have already moved on and filled your spot.
β οΈ This is a JOB and a COMMITMENT that we take very seriously. If you do not think you are able to fully commit to this date, PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT THE BOOKING.
STEP 3: BOOKING EMAIL
If you are selected, you will receive a booking email from one of our casting emails at the END OF THE DAY you accepted your booking offer on.
This email will explain in detail everything else you need to know about the process from here, so please read it in full!
Please check your spam/junk/promotions folders so you don't miss it. The sender will say Casting TaylorMade, but it could come from several different emails, so be on the lookout.
π§ STEP 4: FINAL DETAILS (THE DAY BEFORE)
The day before the shoot, you'll get one more email from Casting TaylorMade with your call time, exact location, and parking info. You MUST complete the confirmation form at the bottom of that email. That is your FINAL confirmation.
β° STEP 5: SHOOT DAY
Plan on around a 6-hour day and arrive EARLY / ON TIME. Full shoot-day details will be in your booking email.
π΅ STEP 6: GETTING PAID
Pay is $100 for the day, processed through production payroll after the shoot. Details on the paperwork will be included in your booking email.
Accepting a booking means production is counting on YOU. We are building a crowd of 500 people, and every single spot matters.
If you do not think you are able to commit, PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT THE BOOKING.
Canceling after you have accepted is NOT okay and puts the whole shoot at risk.
We can't wait to see you on the beach and make some Daytona history together!
Thank you,
Casting TaylorMade
