We recognize the recent cuts in federal funding for fundamental science research in Earth and planetary sciences. Our goal is to provide travel funding for talented scientists at U.S.-based institutions who are facing financial stress, so they can present high-impact research at national and international conferences.
We're currently focused on our conference travel grant program, supporting researchers by enabling them to attend conferences, share their discoveries, and collaborate with peers worldwide. Our grants support scientists at all career stages, and our decisions are based mainly on the merit of the presented work and on whether the applicant is genuinely in need of travel funding. Our mission is to remove financial barriers that prevent talented scientists from participating in the global scientific community.
Please upload your abstract (PDF only). We welcome submissions regardless of whether the abstract has been officially accepted by the conference yet. If you are seeking financial assistance to present your research, you may submit your intended abstract now.
Note: If you are selected for a travel grant, you will be required to provide proof of official conference acceptance prior to the disbursement of funds.
We will be able to provide reimbursement for costs related to airfare, lodging, and registration fees.
