Understanding the motives behind network hardware upgrades

Thank you for participating in this survey. It is part of an academic research project conducted at ETH Zürich, Switzerland, by Prof. Laurent Vanbever and Dr. Romain Jacob.

The following questions aim to assess the state of practice in networking hardware upgrades in telecommunication networks and, more specifically, to understand the practical motivations for upgrading wired network infrastructures today.

A secondary part of the survey concerns sustainability practices and development goals in organisations operating a networking infrastructure.

Please note:

- This survey is anonymous. Individual answers will not be linked to your organisation and do not engage your or your organisation’s responsibility in any way.
