Sharing your experience

Hello, My name is Verónica, and I am a master’s thesis student in Denmark.

This survey is part of my thesis project, which explores how shared experiences of grief may support connection, recognition, and a sense of not being alone, particularly for young adults (18–30) who have experienced the loss of a parent.

As part of this project, I am collecting personal expressions, stories, and reflections to better understand how grief is experienced and shared. If you feel comfortable, you are invited to contribute something from your own experience.

This can be anything you may already have, for example: – a diary entry – a letter – a poem – a reflection or memory – thoughts or quotes – coping strategies – a drawing or visual expression – an object or personal ritual – or anything else that feels meaningful to you

You do not need to create anything new. You can upload a photo or write directly in the survey. Any format or language is welcome.

There is no right or wrong way to share. You are free to contribute as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and you may skip any question or stop participating at any time.

Your response will remain anonymous, and any identifying details will be removed in the final project. All contributions will be used solely for academic research purposes.

If you have any questions, or would prefer to share something via email, you are very welcome to contact me at: 2024k002@dskd.dk

At the end of the survey, there is an optional space if you would like to leave your contact details to follow the project or see the final outcome.

By clicking “Yes, I agree”, you confirm that you have read this information and consent to participate in this research and for your contribution to be used as part of this master’s thesis project.

Thank you for trusting this space with something personal 🤍
