Years ago, each of you was promised love, devotion, and eternal luxury by the charming and enigmatic Carmilla. Drawn in by her beauty, wit, and irresistible affection, you surrendered your hearts and your lives to her willingly. Through the decades, you have become sisters to one another, bound together by the curse. Carmilla gave you eternal life within the grandeur of her shadowed estate, but at the cost of your freedom, your identities, and the futures stolen from you. One by one, each of you was discarded but kept close enough to serve, but never again to be loved.
Now Carmilla has chosen new brides.
As preparations begin for another lavish wedding, the three of you are summoned back to the estate where your lives first ended. But this time, you return not as obedient brides, but as women united by grief, rage, and the bond only shared suffering can forge.
Will you destroy the woman who cursed you? Save the innocent souls about to take your place? Or seize Carmilla’s power and claim immortality on your own terms?
Hello friends, I am Tanya also known as Tanyalashea and I shall be the Mistress for our gothic tale. I’m a writer and avid lover of collaborative storytelling; it’s been my experience that the best stories begin and end with a player reaching for the impossible. So I encourage you to ‘bring your own brand of chaos’. I am the game master of The Aging Journey Podcast and the Stories We Roll podcast. I’ve been casted on many live and recorded games and I also GM at conventions throughout the year. I’m a big fan of indie TTRPGs but my bread and butter is horror. I prefer to play with regular tropes in horror but most of the sensitive content I don’t delve into. I like my games to be creepy, a little bit spicy and fun. This system is very roleplay heavy, focused on regaining your agency, taking revenge and the power of sisterhood. I’m excited to see what world we built together!
I have read all above information. Other than listed conflicts. I shouldn't any conflicts such as previously scheduled events that would prevent me from attending. I understand that Nerds With Dice doesn't require me to attend in the event of an emergency. Or at the sacrifice of my well being in anyway. (This includes but is not limited to my mental health, physical health, and comfort.)
Storytellers are responsible for:
• Table safety including:
-gathering and updating safety & consent forms,
-confirming red/yellow procedures before, during, and after each session
-ensuring communication throughout game and during aftercare/through the week
• Being prepared before each session, including maps, session notes, character information etc.
• Arrive at call time 30 minutes prior to live stream for tech & connection building
• If the ST must miss a session giving at least a week's notice to players and channel so that other programming can be arranged. (Obviously emergencies happen, and your mental health and safety are primary concerns to us!)
• Checking in with players throughout the week for the length campaign to ensure that everyone is doing well and to nurture a safe relationship anchor for uncomfortable conversations.
• Bringing concerns to the table without throwing players under the bus or pitting players against each other.
* Whenever possible, ST are NOT responsible to produce or moderate their own stream- allowing them to focus on the game and players
