Leave your dusty tomes, grimoires, journals, transcriptions, and artifacts at the door. But please... Do not cross the threshold.
We are curating our inaugural season. We seek tales of the uncanny, the forgotten, and the truly unsettling. If you have a manuscript that has been haunting your desk (or you), perhaps it belongs on our shelves instead.
Manuscript Guidelines
To be considered for the current season, all acquisitions must meet the following criteria:
Length: Between 1,500 and 3,000 words. (Tales outside this range may be returned to the void).
Genre: Horror, Uncanny, or Gothic Suspense. We welcome the full spectrum of the genre—from the visceral and the bleak to the darkly comedic. Whatever the tone, your work must be designed to unsettle, disturb, or terrify. If the piece lacks an underlying pulse of dread or horror, it does not belong on these shelves.
Format: Please upload your manuscript in .PDF or .DOCX format.
Originality: The Crimson Library is a collection of human experience. AI-generated submissions are not permitted and will be immediately discarded.
