This form is to be filled in by organisations wishing to be nominated for the Youth- and Student-Led Sub-Group Seat in the ECW governance structure. Your organisation must be a registered member of the sub-group. If you are not yet a member,
please complete the registration form.
Your organisation must also work in the field of formal or informal education in emergency contexts to fulfil the eligibility criteria to stand for election.
The manifesto must be completed by your organisation and should state why it is suitable to represent the sub-group in the ECW governance structure (no more than 800 words in total). The manifesto should consider the following points:
- Your organisation’s experience in education in emergencies
- Why your organisation would like to be involved in the ECW governance
- What experience, strengths and approaches your organisation and nominated individuals would bring to this role to ensure that you can meet the functions of the High-Level Steering Group and Executive Committee.
- Explain how you would engage and amplify the voice of people living in emergency/crisis settings, young people in particular and inclusive of different ethnic groups, people with disabilities, all genders and all other vulnerable groups.
- How you will represent youth/student-led organisations and how you will act as the liaison between the sub-group and ECW.
- Confirmation that you can dedicate sufficient time to the roles.
