3D Interoperability & Workflow Efficiency

We are conducting a targeted survey with architects, interior designers, and 3D modellers to identify critical friction points in current design workflows.

Our specific focus is on interoperability between platforms. This means we can use the same 3D resource (block, family, or component) across different software, such as SketchUp, Revit, and Rhino, without any need for adaptation.

We are investigating the potential of a "plug-and-play" workflow that preserves native geometry, textures, and BIM metadata. This assumes a scenario in which the user can simply download and use an object, completely eliminating the need for manual adjustments, texture remapping, or data entry.

Your participation will help us quantify the value of this "zero-rework" model and its impact on professional productivity.

Imagine a platform offering "Universal Models": A single file that works natively in SketchUp, Revit, and Rhino or other software simultaneously, preserving all textures, all geometry, and BIM data automatically.
How would you rate the impact of this on your productivity?
