CHROMA PROGRAMMING SUGGESTIONS
As part of the rebrand, not only were directing our focus to a much older demographic, we're also replacing our programming library with a new one that actually speaks to animation and more. However, we need your help in expanding it because we can't do it alone. You can submit multiple suggestions if you need to.
Examples of what we're looking for
Aim for the Ace!
The Gutsy Frog
A kockásfülű nyúl
Paranoia Agent
Lupin III (classics)
Windy Tales
Son Of The White Mare
It's Such a Beautiful Day
Ernest & Celestine
Night on the Galactic Railroad
Mind Game
Aeg Maha
Noiseman Sound Insect
Face Like A Frog
Bubu and Bubulina
Jumping (Osamu Tezuka)
Classic Tokusatsu
Nirvanna the Band the Show
Dreams (1990) (movie)
Bottom (show)
Demoscene videos
Music videos (animated, AMVs, motion graphics, etc)
Oddities you found on the internet (and not something that everyone already saw)
International animations from European and other overseas countries
Overlooked live-action media
Experimental animation shorts
Shorts from National Film Board of Canada, Goeblins, Zagreb Film, festivals, etc.
Web animations that aren't currently popular (web animation is not just indie shows from the 2020s)
For quality control, we set boundaries on what we air:
No object shows, plush shows, or GoAnimate shows, period.
Shows made in Flipaclip are blacklisted as well. An exception may be made if there is one that's professionally animated, but as of now Flipaclip shows are not allowed.
No western (US/CA) animated sitcoms (Simpsons, Brickleberry, Haunted Hotel, Inside Job, any Seth McFarlane show, etc.)
A few exceptions are made such as Daria and Mission Hill for both being unique on its own.
No media from CN, [as], Nick, Disney, YTV, TeleToon, or other western (US/CA) kids channels*
(We need programs that aren't what everyone has already seen.)
* Exceptions are made such as media from international counterparts such as CN's Villanos or Any Malu, those we can accept.
No battle shonen anime (There's already Toonami for that)
No trashy live-action shows (Riverdale, Game of Thrones, etc.)
No straight-up pornography (we want to show animation for audiences, not stuff that's clearly for personal viewing)
No generative AI media at all
If you're have a suggestion on a media with demographic for younger audiences, please be mindful of the kind of media we recommend and what we want the channel to be. We prefer animations like The Secret of Kells, Ojamajo Doremi, Moomin, Heidi, and Manga Sekai Mukashibanashi, not The Loud House, Bluey, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Amphibia, Numberblocks, The Owl House, Doki or any preschool stuff.
Even though we do allow web animation, we recommend suggesting those that aren't too popular. We may not accept very popular stuff like GLITCH shows, since a lot of people can watch them already. There's also the first blacklist rule we already mentioned regarding object shows and other things.
Pick one or multiple titles of whatever type such as a show, a movie, a short, a live-action media, or miscellaneous.
This is very useful for specifying which title you mean using databases such as Wikipedia, IMDb, Letterboxd, MyAnimeList, aniDB, AniList, etc.
It's also good for linking stuff from YouTube, Vimeo, etc. if something like a web animation, a short, or some other third thing can be found there.
And it's very convenient if it's a rare or obscure title that can be found on Archive.org, your file sharing link, or any other link.
