Our relationships with ecology and spirituality are deeply intertwined, with the well-being of our collective practice reflected in our landscapes.
In the Sacred Ecology of Herbs in the Semitic and Mediterranean Traditions online course, we will explore 12 herbs and shrubs honoured in the agro-ecological, mystical, and poetic traditions of Abrahamic faiths and in ancient land care practices of Al-Andalus, the Levantine ecosystems, and the Arabian Gulf.
This course will be led by Medina Tenour Whiteman, writer, educator, and researcher on Andalusi and Islamic sacred ecology, together with Katie Wachsberger, a regenerative agro-ecologist, specialising in arid climate ecology and sustainable water practices of the SWANA region.
Cost: €250 including ebook (€160 for returning students) via bank transfer
