Working with Agents

I code on a side project that I want to make money with

I code as the tech person in a startup founder team

Which of these are true?

I'm using it to build internal company tools

I'm using it to build prototypes to showcase my ideas

I jump right into my agentic coding tool and start typing my idea and instructions

I only plan and sketch frontend stuff beforehand

I build a mental model of how it should work beforehand (not just frontend)

I do this in a visual way — through diagrams, mindmaps, flows, etc. (not just frontend)

I use the visual model just for reference while describing to the agent what I want to build

I use screenshots or photos to show the agent the plan, and describe more through words alongside it

I just use the visual plan as a thinking tool and don't really use it for this step — I have the mental model in my head now

No, because that seems like too much work / impossible — but it would be great to have

Yes, but I failed and I'm still trying to find solutions to keep it up to date

Instead, I tried to make my agent keep a text-based mental model of the code up to date
