WHAT THE PROGRAMME OFFERS
A five-day preparatory workshop in Lagos, covering Nigerian film history before Nollywood, the archive as an instrument of power, how national collections are formed and what they obscure, and the practical labour of digitisation.
A residency of six to eight weeks in the first quarter of 2027, working with archival materials. Six months of supported development following the residency, ending in a public presentation of the work.
A production grant, a stipend, and travel and accommodation for the workshop and the residency.
