Warehouse Associate

JOB OVERVIEW
Blue Sky Clothing Co. is a proudly Canadian-owned company specializing in the design,

manufacturing, and retail sales of quality clothing. Our team is dedicated to sustainability, comfort, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will report to the Operations Manager and play a key role in
supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This position involves handling incoming and outgoing merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized workspace and ensuring adherence to company safety protocols.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES
·       Assist with loading and unloading merchandise from delivery trucks
·       Inspect, count, and verify incoming merchandise against packing lists
·       Sort and organize merchandise on shelves according to company procedures
·       Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer and store orders
·       Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by keeping aisles, racks, and workstations clear and tidy
·       Adhere to safety policies; report any unsafe practices or conditions to the supervisor
·       Participate in inventory counts, assist with maintaining computerized inventory records
·       Other duties as directed
REQUIREMENTS
·       Must be punctual and arrive 5 minutes before scheduled start time
·       Uniform provided by the warehouse supervisor must be worn at all times
·       No use of personal cell phones or headphones while in the warehouse
·       Closed-toe shoes are mandatory—no flip-flops or sandals
·       No use of scented soaps or perfumes (due to staff allergies)
·       Use ladders for reaching high shelves—do not stand on shelves
·       Clean, Valid Class 5 Drivers License
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
·       Previous warehouse experience an asset
·       Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs
·       Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
·       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
·       Positive attitude and willingness to learn
