We’re building India’s first beauty commerce concierge, bringing Sephora’s shopping experience to your home. We’ll be the first lifestyle commerce for the top 1% (similar to Firstclub for F&B, CRED for fintech).
You’ll work alongside Wingit’s engineering team to build real parts of the commerce platform that supports the customer journey end to end. You’ll own well-scoped projects across product, backend, platform, or internal tooling, with guidance from experienced engineers. This is a hands-on role: you’ll write production code, learn how systems behave at scale, and see the direct impact of your work on customers and operations.
• Own a well-scoped feature or system end to end, from understanding the problem and proposing an approach to implementation, testing, release, and iteration.
• Build reliable product, backend, platform, or internal-tooling features based on the team’s priorities.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teammates, ask thoughtful questions, and incorporate feedback quickly.
• Debug issues, write tests and documentation, and improve the quality and maintainability of the systems you touch.
• Use AI and automation thoughtfully to improve the product, engineering workflows, or operational efficiency.
• A final-year student or recent graduate who can commit to a full-time, work-from-office internship in Gurugram.
• Strong programming fundamentals, including data structures, APIs, databases, and version control.
• Evidence that you enjoy building: personal projects, internships, hackathons, open-source work, research, or products used by real people.
• Comfort with at least one modern programming language and the ability to learn unfamiliar tools quickly.
• Clear communication, strong ownership, curiosity, and care for code quality and the customer experience.
• Experience building a web application, backend service, API, data pipeline, or developer tool.
• Familiarity with SQL, cloud infrastructure, testing, CI/CD, or production debugging.
• Experience in an early-stage team or in quick commerce, ecommerce, logistics, or consumer technology.
• A history of using AI or automation to solve a real problem, not only to generate code.
