Neighbourhood Evidence Brief Request

Welcome — About this request

From neighbourhood data to better planning questions.

AQIMERYL, a project under Nuvanitic, prepares neighbourhood evidence briefs to help community health organizations, nonprofits and local planning teams explore geographic patterns, compare indicators and identify questions worth investigating locally.

Why complete this form? Tell us what decision you are working toward, which communities you serve and what evidence would be useful. We will review whether the available data and methods can support a clearly scoped brief—without requiring an initial discovery call.

What you may receive: A PDF Evidence Brief and a supporting results spreadsheet for an agreed study area. Depending on the available, validated data and approved scope, analysis may cover 2021 Census demographics, age and income patterns, mapped Ontario healthcare services, proximity comparisons, maps and clearly documented limitations. Population-weighted access, travel times, seniors living alone, sensitivity analyses or outreach-site comparisons may require additional data or methods and are not guaranteed.

What this is not: A clinical assessment, comprehensive health needs assessment, funding application or automatic recommendation to allocate resources. Interviews and primary research are not included.

How the process works:
1. Submit this intake (approximately 10 minutes).
2. AQIMERYL reviews geography, data coverage and feasibility.
3. You receive a written scope, price and proposed delivery schedule.
4. Work begins only after scope and payment arrangements are accepted.

There is no charge to submit this request. Please do not include identifiable patient information or personal health records.
