Brushstrokes for the Bay is so excited to host our first Art Competition! Middle schoolers are eligible and encouraged to participate. Three winners will be chosen to win a $40 cash prize, and chosen entries will be featured in a gallery.
Theme: Winter is often experienced through the warmth, joy, and coziness of a home. How can small acts of kindness help protect the place we call home?
Tip: Acts of kindness can be towards nature, the community, and/or the planet.
Due date: Accepting Submissions until 12/31/2026. Results will come out on 1/7/2026.
Eligibility: Must be a Bay Area student in 6th-8th grade (Middle School)
Other Requirements: Art form can be of any medium. Any usage of AI to complete or create the art piece is not permitted. Only one entry per person.
