Our Investment Thesis
We believe that across Africa’s rural economies, women create significant economic value but capture only a fraction of it due to structural inefficiencies across production, aggregation, processing, financing, and market systems.
Our work focuses on helping rural enterprises retain more value locally while becoming commercially viable and investment-ready.
Who Should Apply
We are looking for enterprises that:
- Operate within rural communities.
- Are women-led or significantly driven by women.
- Are already generating commercial revenue.
- Operate within agriculture or related rural value chains.
- Have the ambition and capacity to grow into structured, investable businesses.
Important Information
This is not an application for funding.
Participation in the programme does not guarantee grants, loans, equity investment, or procurement opportunities.
Selected enterprises will undergo business assessments to determine suitability for Muazu Africa’s venture-building portfolio. Businesses admitted into the portfolio will receive tailored technical assistance and may be considered for future market linkage and capital facilitation opportunities where appropriate.
