Biodiversity and Ecology AI Assistant survey

This survey supports early requirements gathering for the EOSC AIssistant project that is developing an agentic, AI-powered open research assistant fully integrated into the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
We want to understand how people researching biodiversity and ecology currently use GenAI tools, and what a dedicated biodiversity/ecology research assistant agent — meaning a software system that can search, read, extract, and reason over data and literature on request — should actually do to be useful, before design work goes further.
This survey takes about 5–7 minutes.

Your privacy: This survey is conducted by Naturalis Biodiversity Center as part of the EOSC AIssistant project. We collect your responses anonymously to inform the design of a biodiversity/ecology research assistant. Responses are stored securely via Tally (hosted in the EU, GDPR-compliant) and will only be shared in aggregated or anonymised form in any project reporting or publication.
