Oral signs of eating disorders, medication side effects and chronic disease

Wednesday 21 October 2026, 7:00pm to 7:40pm AEDT. Online, 40 minutes.
A short session for GPs and practice teams on the oral signs that show up long before a patient tells you anything. We will work through three presentations you will recognise. The erosion pattern that points to purging or reflux. The dry mouth that follows polypharmacy and what it does to caries risk. The periodontal picture that sits alongside poor glycaemic control.
The last few minutes cover what to send and how, including a walk through of the referral pathway into Continuum so you can see exactly what it looks like from your desk.
Presented by Dr Sandhya Jaswal, dentist and Clinical Director of Continuum Teletherapy and Allied Health. The session is recorded, and everyone who registers gets the recording afterwards, whether or not you make it on the night.
