Anonymous Survivor Survey

Please read this carefully before you begin. You can stop at any time and there is no obligation to answer every question. If at any point this survey brings up difficult feelings, you can find a list of specialist support services at the end.

We want to begin by acknowledging your courage in considering this survey. We understand that questions here touch on deeply personal and painful experiences, and we will ask them as gently as we can.

This survey is part of our ITV News investigation into the scale of sexual assault and rape carried out by a partner against women who were incapacitated or unconscious. The answers you provide are for research purposes. We will use the anonymised data in our reporting on ITV News to help us illustrate the scale of these crimes. We also want to understand your experiences with the police and court system.

We know some of the questions will have complex answers, so we have left some space towards the end if you would like to expand on your experience. Our investigation centres on women's experiences, but if this has happened to you- whatever your gender- we would like to hear from you.

By continuing, you confirm that you have read and understood the information above and consent to taking part in this anonymous survey. To make sure we receive your answers, please click the 'submit' button at the very end.

Thank you,
Louisa, Sejal & Ellie
