GAME DEV BOOTCAMP

Over the past three years, we have successfully delivered the ARK Fellowship Program, supporting African game studio founders with both technical and business training, alongside prototype funding. Through this work, we’ve identified a critical gap in technical expertise — both within founding teams and across the broader ecosystem.

To address this, the ARK Fellowship has evolved to include a focused bootcamp designed to upskill intermediate developers and enable them to build higher-quality, more engaging game projects.

Through a series of hands-on trainings, mixers, and meetups, participants will gain practical insights into both the technical and commercial sides of game development. The program also creates pathways for visibility — offering networking and showcase opportunities that connect founders with publishers and investors for mentorship, guidance, and potential funding.

Please note that the program currently focuses on PC and mobile game development, and applicants must have previously shipped at least one game. A portfolio link (such as a Play Store, itch.io, or equivalent) is required as part of the application.

Our ultimate goal is to strengthen the African games ecosystem by empowering studios to build, launch, and scale innovative, commercially viable games.
