We’re looking for a proactive and people-loving Research & Reachouts Intern who can dive deep into the startup + tech ecosystem and confidently reach out to CXOs, founders, and industry leaders. If you enjoy researching interesting people, organising information, talking to new folks, and
using AI tools to move fast — you’ll feel at home here.
This role sits at the intersection of research, outreach, and relationships, supporting events, roundtables, AMAs, and community programs at The Builders Club.
Key Responsibilities
- Speaker & Leader Research: Identify founders, CXOs, operators, and domain leaders across India and the US for different events and programs.
- Directory Building: Create and maintain structured databases of potential guests and speakers.
- Active Reachouts: Cold calling, WhatsApp messaging, Email outreach, Follow-ups & scheduling, Maintaining outreach logs
- Industry Research: Track ecosystem trends, tech updates, leadership stories, and industry reports.
- Report & Brief Creation: Compile research into structured briefs, content notes, and internal documents.
- AI-Driven Efficiency: Use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc. to speed up research, summarisation, and outreach drafting.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who genuinely enjoys speaking with people
- Comfortable with cold calling, WhatsApp communication, and email-based conversations
- A naturally curious researcher who can go deep and organise insights well
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Good with AI tools for research, writing, and automation
- Interest in startups, tech, founders, and modern work culture
- Organised, structured, and proactive in managing multiple tasks
